At CSI, we first concentrate on the best kind of recycling—reusing the equipment by wiping the hard drives clean and reselling it to another user. But because that’s not always an option, CSI has built our own professional de-manufacturing operation. This facility is used when any component cannot be sold whole or in part, or is no longer usable. Items are disassembled down to plastic, steel, aluminum, etc., with final distribution to other manufacturing facilities that will recycle the raw materials.

In Brazil, CSI Remarketing has selected certified partners to handle e-Scrap in compliance with the procedures developed by EPC in the United States.
